More Birthday Pictures!

Happy 3rd Birthday Gaby!!!

Gosh, I haven't posted in almost a month... Things have been so busy that I haven't really had time. I have been reading some blogs, but not time to copy pictures, and actually take some time. We are getting settled, and trying to get things put away. Kyle's parents are up for a while, and it has been a lot of fun. I got on here to post today, because yesterday was Gabryella's birthday and we got lots of fun pictures. She had a good day. She wore her birthday crown that Nana made her all day long. The picture in the middle; yes, she was leaning forward taking bites of her cake... It was so funny! She crashed when it was bedtime though! I hope everyone is doing well and we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Holy Cow!

Okay, so here is what Gaby looks like now! I absolutely love it! I think it is so cute. She giggled, and then she cried, and I think she is in just a little bit of shock, because she has never seen herself with anything but long hair! Let me know what you think!!!

So, I try to find fun things to do with the girls while Dresden is at school and this morning, I decided to put these super cute dresses on them yesterday! So, here is some of what I got.

It's Almost Time!

I cannot believe that it has been almost a month since I have posted. I have just been busy, and forgetful. We have a new buyer for the house, and the closing date is now set for December 1st. That doesn't leave us with much time, but what can you do; I guess my house is already packed up anyways!!

So, the last month has been such a breeze, I couldn't really even tell you what happened really :o) We had a blast for Halloween, and other than that just the normal everyday stuff!

Dresden and Aryana just had their end of quarter evaluations, and are both doing great in school, and they love it! Dresden is going to be reading before we know it. He is already picking up on a lot of words. Gaby is still her silly little self. I cannot believe that she is going to be three in December! Wow, how the time flies!

I have been getting up and going to the gym in the mornings with my friend Michelle, and I love it, even though the getting out of bed part is still hard... I just do it! I am sad that I will not be here that much longer to go with her.

Well, hopefully it will not be another month before I post; but I am not making any promises... I guess that is pretty much it for now, not much else going on... Until next time!!!

So, I officially learned my lesson about giving a child chocolate fudge before bedtime. Aryana ate all of her dinner tonight, so for her reward, this is what Kyle suggested. She was so wound up that she was running around the living room in circles laughing at absolutely nothing! Everything she said came out of her mouth so fast that we could not even understand her! She got out of bed and as I scolded her for getting up, she continued to laugh... Wow, maybe I should give her a piece of fudge when she needs to clean her room... I wonder if she would move that fast??? Worth a shot right?

Waiting Game!

Ok, so I have been really bad about blogging lately, so I figured I had better get on here and keep everyone posted! For those of you who don't know... Our buyers' lending fell through, and so we are back at square one :( Oh Well though, I am trying to make the best of the situation, and not stress.

Aryana gets to go back to school on Monday, so I will only have one left at home during the day; that will be strange! She can't wait, we went out there to talk to her teacher, and she didn't want to leave! That will be really good for her!

Dresden is doing great in school, he loves it, and I think that he would like to stay at school an extra couple of hours... He loves his homework, yes homework! His teacher is the only kindergarten teacher that gives homework packets, and I love it too. He loves a challenge.

Gabryella is still being her funny little self. She decided that she wanted to be Giselle for halloween. A friend is going to help me make the dress, so we were at Walmart getting the fabric and after we got it, she goes "Now we have to go buy Edward and Robert!" I was cracking up, because she was so serious!

We are all doing well. It is just a waiting game for now!

Moving Stinks!!!

So, for those of you who didn't hear the news yet... we did sell our house, and we will be leaving for Montana on or before October 10th. It is all happening really fast and my brain is pretty much in a jumble right now, with everything going on! I apologize if I am being forgetful, or crabby; it's not personal, just stress! I am not ready to say my goodbyes, but I am ready to get over there and get things settled, before the bad weather hits. We took lots of pictures when we went house shopping over there, and it is so beautiful. Other than that, not much else is going on! The other day, some friends were over, and I made a comment that my house was a giant "booby trap" and Jaycee thought that was the funniest thing ever; maybe I should watch what words I use from now on! :0)

Dahlias!!!

Here are a few pictures of the dahlias that I thought were dead for sure not too long after I planted them! They are doing great, and I am really surprised at how well they are doing, and at the size of the blooms on one of the plants... I took the picture with the apple, so you could see the difference in size! (and yes, it is a normal apple... not a crab apple :0)!!

Not Exactly as Planned!

Well, our huckleberry picking trip didn't go exactly as planned. We drove all the way up there.. (about 2 hours) and the huckleberries weren't ripe yet. This is the same time that we went last year, but I guess because of our crazy summer, it will be a little while still. We found a few, but not many at all. On the way home, we did stop at a cool place with a bunch of sculptures made out of iron, and some also made out of driftwood. Some were a bit risqe, but there was warning! :o)
For those of you who haven't heard yet, we did get an offer on the house, so we are working on the contract right now. If all goes as planned we will be leaving the end of September, or the very beginning of October. It is going to be very sad to leave, but I am ready to get over there, and settled, before the really cold weather sets in! Which, I am assuming won't be too long! I will be posting some new fun pictures soon! Until then...

Adventures!!!

So, a little trouble at the bank today! Went to the ATM outside the bank to make a deposit, and right in the middle of the deposit, it popped up and said "Your card has been retained, please call your financial institution!" So, almost late to make it to the post office, I go inside to make the deposit and find out what the heck was going on, and had to sit and "chat" with this guy. Turns out, he said the card was never activated; which I find weird, I really thought I had used it, but I guess not... So, I was trying to hurry out of there, and of course, there was no clock in sight.. I get out to the car, and the clock said 4:59. I thought for sure I could run the package in real quick, but it turns out that they lock the thing EXACTLY on time on Friday! I was quite frustrated to say the least!
Well, we are going on a family trip tomorrow to pick some huckleberries! I can't wait to make some ice cream! We went last year and found a great spot with a ton of them; the "motherload" as Kyle would say... The kids had a lot of fun, and we enjoyed the pancakes and ice cream while it lasted! We are hoping to find some tomorrow and get lots of fun pictures!

Life Size Puzzle!!!

So, it has been a couple days, but not much is going on.. Just hanging out! I made "D" a cape this morning, and it is so funny, he said that it was a "Magician Cape," so he decided to do a magic trick for me and pull a penny out of my ear... So he reached up, shoved the penny in my ear, and then reached up and took it out! HaHa.. Kids do the silliest things! I also made "A" a cute little pink and white polka - dot skirt.. Pretty cute. We are planning on going to Montana on Thursday to go and look at a house. We are going to camp while we are there, and will be there for the weekend! I am excited to finally see the area where we will be living!

Clean, Clean, Clean

So, I feel like I haven't really done anything lately, other than clean. I am trying really hard to keep the house clean, so that when I get a phone call that there will be a showing, I am not running around like a chicken with it's head cut off!!! I guess it is kinda nice because my house is almost always clean now. The kids are getting a little annoyed with it I think though, because I am constantly asking them to pick up their toys!
Well, we found a house in Montana that we are really interested in, so we might go and check it out soon, along with a couple other homes. It sits on 30 acres, so we would pretty much have a forest in our back yard! Cool huh? I am really anxious to get over there and get settled soon; hopefully! Ta Ta :o)

No training wheels...

So, I had to post again, because we hit another big milestone! Dresden learned to ride his bike with no training wheels. He actually learned on Aunt Jenny's Birthday, but I got some pictures yesterday, oh yeah, and the kids also had a "bike wash". I remember doing it when I was little and oh man did they have a blast!

Still Waiting...

So, there's not really any new news since last time, but we have decided to lower the price of the house. We are hoping that we will start getting some more interest... I know that it will happen when it is supposed to, but I am really hoping that it is sooner, rather than later, even though I am not looking forward to moving away from all of my wonderful friends that I have here. I am not looking forward to the day that I have to say goodbye..( I will just make sure not to wear mascara.. :0) I love all of you and thank you all for being such amazing friends!

So, I have been talking about getting new pictures on here for a while, and I was trying to make a slide show to put on here, but I am having some difficulty... I went and made an album capzles.com, but don't know for sure if I can put it on the blog. So, for now I will just post a few here and there. Finally Home!

Wow, we are finally home after three weeks of being gone! It was a great vacation, but it is good to be home and back in the swing of things... Things are going good, but I wish the house would hurry up and sell.. we had a showing yesterday, but I guess we will wait and see. The kids are doing great, and I am getting ready for Dresden to start Kindergarten, and it doesn't seem possible! I hope everyone is doing well!

Oh, the Places we'll go!!!

Wow, so we just got home from Utah on the 29th and boy was the trip home an interesting one. We missed our flight so we had to wait and get on the next flight to Portland and then connect on another plane to Seattle. We should have arrived home around 7:30 and didn't actually get there until 11:30. We are now preparing to drive to Idaho tomorrow for a couple days. My family reunion is up by Coeur d'Alene, so we will be camping out for a few days. Everything else is pretty much the same; our home is still on the market and hopefully it sells soon. I want everyone to know how much I am going to miss them when I leave... I have made such wonderful friends here and that is the hardest part of this move!!! I love you all! I will be posting some pictures shortly!

GUILTY!

Ok, So I am feeling a little (okay.. a lot) guilty because I have not posted in over a month, only to get on and discover that a certain friend of mine with a 2 day old baby managed to have time, and energy to post. So, hopefully that will inspire me to be a little bit better about posting!!!
Well, we are actually in Utah right now visiting family, and will return home on the 29th, only to turn around and drive to Idaho a day or two later! Our home is currently on the market and we are hoping to sell quickly... Maybe even while we are gone. Kyle's little brother Garren is preparing to serve a mission and we are visiting him for the last time before he departs. He flies out on August 7th and he will be serving in the England London South Mission. We are very excited for him, but will miss him lots!
Other than that, there isn't a whole lot going on; the kids are great and having so much fun on vacation, and Kyle is working his behind off like usual :) I will be happy to get home and see everyone and of course Jennis and Justin's new little Taylor. It is pretty much driving me crazy that I am not there to see her! Best of Luck to All!
